The incumbent will oversee the timely preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), and other statutory tax filings across multiple jurisdictions. A key expectation is the development and maintenance of a reliable tax compliance monitoring framework that ensures uniformity and accuracy in tax reporting across all business units. Beyond compliance, the role carries significant responsibility for managing tax risk exposure and supporting audit processes. The Group Tax Manager will coordinate tax audits across different countries, prepare detailed technical responses to tax authority queries, and ensure all tax positions are defensible, consistent with the Group’s tax strategy, and aligned with applicable regulations. - Ensure proper documentation of all tax positions and supporting evidence.
- Maintain audit trails for all tax filings and computations.
- Participate in financial reporting cycles for tax disclosures.

- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field

- Strong understanding of African tax regimes (East, West, Southern Africa)
