Responsibilities for Revenue Assurance & FTP Senior Officer in Kenya
- The Revenue Assurance & FTP Senior Officer will be responsible for a comprehensive set of duties spanning revenue assurance processes, FTP model management, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration. The officer will proactively identify revenue leakages, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with IT and relevant business units to resolve issues efficiently. Monitoring tariff configurations and system updates that affect fees, commissions, and interest income will also be a key responsibility.
- The role will involve developing and maintaining dashboards, automated reports, and key performance indicators to track revenue assurance performance. The officer will prepare detailed monthly reports for management, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement opportunities. They will also support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- In terms of FTP responsibilities, the officer will assist in collecting, validating, and analyzing balance sheet data including loans, deposits, and liquidity positions required for FTP calculations. They will support the calibration and maintenance of FTP models in collaboration with Finance and Treasury teams. Monthly FTP allocations to business units and products will be performed, with detailed analysis provided to explain variances and profitability impacts.
- The officer will work closely with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Risk, Operations, IT, and Product teams to ensure accurate revenue capture and proper FTP allocation. They will also support financial closing processes, particularly during month-end and year-end reporting cycles.
- Additionally, the role involves conducting root-cause analysis of revenue leakages and FTP discrepancies, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives related to pricing and profitability optimization.
