The GoCare Training Institute (GTI) has its roots deeply embedded in the foundation of GoCare, a prominent organization based in Kenya, dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services and solutions. Established in the year 2011, GoCare operates with a mission to enhance healthcare accessibility, quality, and affordability across Kenya. GTI emerged as a pivotal component within the overarching framework of GoCare, aiming to address the critical need for skilled healthcare professionals in the region. It was established as an educational arm of GoCare, focusing specifically on offering specialized training programs and courses tailored to the healthcare sector. GTI’s inception stemmed from GoCare’s recognition of the acute shortage of trained healthcare personnel in Kenya. Understanding the significance of well-equipped healthcare professionals in ensuring effective healthcare delivery, GTI was established to bridge this gap by providing high-quality training programs.
Job Summary:
The ICT Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to students, employees, or clients. The role involves developing training materials, conducting workshops, and ensuring participants gain practical and theoretical knowledge in ICT tools, systems, and applications.
Develop and design ICT training programs, materials, and manuals for various skill levels.
Deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations effectively, both in-person and online.
Assess the learning needs of participants and adapt training content accordingly.
Provide hands-on guidance on software, hardware, networking, and other ICT tools.
Evaluate participants’ progress through tests, practical assignments, and feedback sessions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICT developments, trends, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with the training team to improve program effectiveness and participant engagement.
Prepare reports on training outcomes, attendance, and feedback for management.
Ensure all training equipment, systems, and resources are operational and accessible.
Support learners with troubleshooting and ICT-related queries during and after sessions.
