Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complete recruitment activities from workforce request approval through candidate onboarding while ensuring a smooth hiring experience.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce priorities and translate staffing requirements into practical recruitment plans.
  • Source qualified candidates using professional networking platforms, talent databases, referrals, career portals, recruitment events, and direct search techniques.
  • Develop creative attraction campaigns that strengthen employer branding and increase visibility among qualified professionals.
  • Screen applications objectively against defined competency requirements and job specifications.
  • Conduct telephone, virtual, and face-to-face interviews to assess technical knowledge, behavioural competencies, and cultural alignment.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates, hiring managers, and panel members while ensuring timely communication.
  • Prepare candidate evaluation reports and provide recruitment recommendations supported by objective assessment findings.
  • Verify academic qualifications, employment history, professional certifications, references, and other pre-employment requirements.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records, interview documentation, and hiring files in accordance with internal governance standards.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems to monitor recruitment progress and generate accurate hiring reports.
  • Build sustainable talent pipelines for specialist, leadership, technical, and future workforce requirements.
  • Monitor labour market trends and recommend sourcing strategies that improve recruitment effectiveness.
  • Support recruitment initiatives for technology, digital transformation, operations, customer service, finance, risk, and corporate functions.
  • Work closely with the Human Resources team to continuously improve recruitment workflows and service delivery.
  • Ensure every recruitment exercise complies with employment legislation, organizational policies, and ethical hiring standards.
  • Promote fair, transparent, and inclusive recruitment practices that encourage workplace diversity.
  • Engage universities, professional associations, and industry networks to strengthen future talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Participate in career fairs, employer branding events, and graduate recruitment programmes.
  • Prepare recruitment metrics including vacancy status, sourcing effectiveness, hiring timelines, offer acceptance, and recruitment performance indicators.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance recruitment efficiency while reducing hiring delays.
  • Support workforce planning discussions by providing recruitment insights and market intelligence.
  • Build positive relationships with recruitment agencies and external hiring partners where applicable.
  • Respond professionally to candidate enquiries throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Ensure confidentiality when handling employee and applicant information.
  • Coordinate employment offer preparation and support successful candidate onboarding activities.
  • Collaborate with internal communication teams to develop attractive recruitment advertisements.
  • Continuously evaluate candidate experience and recommend service improvements.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, integrity, and customer focus in every recruitment assignment.
  • Perform additional recruitment and talent acquisition responsibilities assigned by Human Resources leadership to support evolving business needs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Business Administration, Psychology, or another closely related discipline.
  • Professional HR certification such as CHRP, IHRM, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
  • Certification in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment, Talent Analytics, or Digital Recruitment will be an added advantage.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or Organizational Psychology is desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of recruitment best practices, employment legislation, and ethical hiring standards.
