Key Responsibilities
- Support planning, execution, and monitoring of construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects across Bank properties.
- Prepare and review bills of quantities, cost estimates, and detailed construction budgets for new and ongoing projects.
- Manage project costing activities to ensure alignment with approved financial limits and value-for-money principles.
- Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for efficient allocation of construction resources.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documentation, including specifications, contract conditions, and procurement requirements.
- Liaise with procurement teams and external consultants during tendering processes, including contractor shortlisting and evaluation.
- Evaluate contractor bids and provide technical and financial recommendations for award decisions.
- Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and payment certificates for contractors and service providers.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure proper financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, quality of work, and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Support maintenance planning by preparing repair specifications and maintenance tender documents.
- Supervise ongoing works in collaboration with consultants to ensure timely and quality completion of projects.
- Manage documentation for all projects, including contracts, performance bonds, variation orders, and related records.
- Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and value engineering.
- Assist in resolving contractual disputes and claims in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare periodic reports on project progress, financial performance, and risk exposure.
- Coordinate with internal departments to align construction projects with organizational needs and priorities.
- Support evaluation and selection of contractors based on technical and financial capability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management and facilities maintenance processes.

Skills & Competencies
- Building Economics, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification or progress toward registration with a recognized professional body is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction cost management and contract administration.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in preparation of bills of quantities and tender documentation.
- Strong understanding of procurement and construction tendering processes.
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
