Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of debt capital markets transactions from mandate acceptance through successful completion.
- Coordinate syndicated financing transactions and support efficient deal structuring processes.
- Develop and implement structured finance solutions tailored to client funding requirements.
- Manage transaction timelines and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
- Prepare and review transaction documentation to support successful execution and closure.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to assess transaction viability and investment attractiveness.
- Build sophisticated financial models to support valuation, structuring, and financing decisions.
- Perform comprehensive credit assessments and risk evaluations for proposed transactions.
- Engage institutional investors to secure participation in financing transactions.
- Lead transaction placement activities involving banks, fund managers, insurance firms, and development finance institutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and international investors.
- Collaborate with corporate banking teams to identify and originate advisory opportunities.
- Develop innovative financing structures that address client-specific objectives and market conditions.
- Provide strategic advisory services on debt raising, capital structuring, and financing alternatives.
- Identify opportunities to expand the advisory business and increase revenue generation.
- Support business development initiatives aimed at growing the transaction pipeline.
- Prepare investment memoranda, transaction proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging financing trends and industry opportunities.
- Evaluate economic and sector developments that may influence transaction performance.
- Participate in negotiations with clients, lenders, investors, and professional advisors.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Coordinate due diligence activities and ensure timely resolution of transaction issues.
- Ensure all transaction activities comply with applicable regulatory and internal governance requirements.
- Monitor transaction risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Develop strong working relationships with clients across multiple industries.
- Promote exceptional client service through proactive communication and solution-oriented engagement.
- Support product innovation initiatives within the advisory business.
- Assist in developing new structured finance and capital markets solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and support technical skills development.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives within the advisory division.
- Support the achievement of departmental profitability and growth objectives.
- Prepare management reports and performance updates as required.
- Represent the Bank during client meetings, investor forums, and industry engagements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree from a recognized university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as CFA, CPA, ICIFA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
