Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, VPN connectivity, and network security appliances.
- Monitor network performance, availability, bandwidth utilization, and system health using appropriate monitoring tools.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
- Manage Active Directory services, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, print services, and identity management.
- Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Entra ID administration.
- Provide technical support for ERP applications and related enterprise software while ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
- Maintain cloud-based services and assist with cloud infrastructure administration and optimization.
- Perform routine server maintenance, software updates, firmware upgrades, and operating system patching.
- Implement cybersecurity controls to safeguard company information systems and digital assets.
- Monitor endpoint protection platforms, antivirus solutions, email security, and vulnerability management systems.
- Coordinate regular backup schedules, disaster recovery planning, restoration testing, and business continuity activities.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve first-line and second-line ICT incidents within agreed service levels.
- Record, prioritize, track, and close support tickets while maintaining accurate service documentation.
- Configure user accounts, access permissions, security groups, software licenses, and user lifecycle management activities.
- Maintain accurate ICT asset registers covering computers, servers, networking equipment, software licenses, and peripherals.
- Support integration between business applications through APIs, middleware, and automation technologies.
- Develop workflow automation using Microsoft Power Platform tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Create dashboards and business reports using Power BI and other reporting technologies.
- Assist departments in identifying opportunities for process automation and digital transformation.
- Maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, system architecture, configuration records, and operating procedures.
- Update corporate website content and support website functionality where required.
- Coordinate ICT vendors, evaluate technical proposals, monitor service delivery, and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
- Participate in procurement planning, budgeting, infrastructure expansion, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Conduct regular ICT security awareness sessions for employees.
- Ensure compliance with organizational ICT policies, software licensing requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze recurring technical issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent corrective solutions.
- Participate in ICT project planning, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
- Monitor infrastructure capacity and recommend upgrades before performance limitations affect operations.
- Produce regular ICT operational reports, service performance summaries, and technology improvement recommendations.
- Support SQL database queries, reporting requirements, and data integrity initiatives where necessary.
- Maintain IP telephony solutions and communication platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend technology enhancements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, automation platforms, and productivity tools for future implementation.
- Ensure high standards of customer service while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and technical excellence in every assignment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or another closely related discipline from a recognized institution. Candidates should demonstrate at least three years of practical experience supporting enterprise ICT environments within a manufacturing, logistics, commercial, or multi
- site business environment. Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, VMware, Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent industry credentials will be considered an added advantage. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Windows and Linux server management, Active Directory, networking technologies, cybersecurity principles, endpoint protection, cloud computing, ERP systems, disaster recovery planning, backup technologies, SQL databases, Power Platform, Power BI, API integration, scripting, and automation tools is highly desirable. Experience with programming technologies including Python, PHP, React, Next.js, Flutter, Git, and web technologies will strengthen an application.
