Job Description

KPMG East Africa is seeking an innovative and technically skilled Digital Platforms Associate to join the Clients & Markets team based in Nairobi, Kenya. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital platform strategies that support marketing objectives, client engagement initiatives, and organizational priorities.
  • Manage corporate websites, microsites, and digital portals to ensure consistent performance, security, and content accuracy.
  • Coordinate platform enhancements, maintenance schedules, software updates, and technical improvements with internal and external technology teams.
  • Monitor website functionality and promptly resolve platform issues affecting usability or performance.
  • Review websites regularly to identify design inconsistencies, broken links, technical errors, and accessibility concerns.
  • Publish, edit, and maintain digital content while ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and editorial standards.
  • Organize content structures, metadata, page hierarchies, internal linking, and navigation to improve discoverability.
  • Support search engine optimization initiatives by optimizing page titles, descriptions, structured content, and keyword relevance.
  • Build and maintain campaign landing pages for marketing initiatives, events, publications, and thought leadership programs.
  • Configure digital forms, registration pages, and customer interaction features that improve online engagement.
  • Support marketing automation workflows including email campaigns, customer journeys, lead nurturing processes, and audience segmentation.
  • Assist with CRM integrations that improve marketing efficiency and campaign reporting.
  • Monitor campaign performance using digital analytics platforms and prepare meaningful reports for business stakeholders.
  • Create regular dashboards highlighting visitor behavior, engagement metrics, website trends, conversion performance, and improvement opportunities.
  • Implement tracking codes, event measurement, and analytics configurations supporting accurate performance reporting.
  • Recommend user experience improvements based on behavioral data, testing outcomes, and customer feedback.
  • Participate in website optimization projects that improve loading speed, responsiveness, navigation, and accessibility.
  • Coordinate A/B testing initiatives and evaluate results to improve digital conversion rates.
  • Research emerging digital technologies and recommend practical innovations that strengthen platform capabilities.
  • Evaluate new tools, plugins, automation features, artificial intelligence solutions, and digital applications suitable for business adoption.
  • Collaborate with regional marketing teams to deliver integrated campaigns across multiple digital channels.
  • Maintain documentation covering publishing procedures, governance requirements, workflows, and platform standards.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate branding, accessibility regulations, cybersecurity policies, and privacy requirements.
  • Provide guidance and technical support to internal users responsible for digital content creation and publishing.
  • Build productive working relationships with service line leaders, technology teams, marketing specialists, and external partners.
  • Prioritize competing assignments while maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and responsiveness.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen digital operations throughout the East African practice.
  • Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, customer experience, operational excellence, and long-term digital growth.
  • Perform additional digital platform responsibilities assigned in support of departmental objectives and organizational success.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, Digital Media, Business Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in digital platform management, website administration, web publishing, or marketing technology.
  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise Content Management Systems such as SharePoint, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, or Drupal.
  • Practical understanding of website architecture, digital governance, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience implementing SEO strategies and improving website visibility through technical and on

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms including Marketo, HubSpot, Adobe Campaign, or comparable solutions.
