Key Responsibilities
- Review existing training materials including presentations, manuals, guides, digital documents, and reference resources to determine suitability for digital conversion.
- Analyze learning content to identify outdated information, duplication, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Organize instructional materials into structured learning paths that align with business objectives and learner requirements.
- Design engaging eLearning experiences that support self-paced, blended, and instructor-supported learning.
- Develop comprehensive instructional storyboards, scripts, learning objectives, and content flow documentation.
- Produce interactive digital learning modules incorporating quizzes, simulations, branching scenarios, practical exercises, and knowledge checks.
- Create multimedia learning assets using graphics, audio, video, animation, and interactive components where appropriate.
- Ensure learning content reflects adult learning principles and supports different learning styles.
- Build courses compatible with Learning Management Systems using recognized eLearning standards.
- Test digital learning modules across multiple devices to ensure excellent learner experience and functionality.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development specialists to validate learning objectives and course effectiveness.
- Partner with subject matter experts to verify technical accuracy and maintain content relevance.
- Support continuous updates of learning materials based on organizational priorities and learner feedback.
- Conduct quality reviews to maintain consistency in formatting, branding, language, accessibility, and instructional standards.
- Perform usability testing before course deployment to identify areas requiring improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and version control for all digital learning resources.
- Participate in pilot testing sessions and incorporate constructive feedback into final course designs.
- Recommend innovative instructional approaches that improve learner engagement and knowledge retention.
- Develop microlearning resources that provide flexible learning opportunities for busy professionals.
- Design assessments that effectively measure learner understanding and course outcomes.
- Monitor learning trends and recommend modern technologies that strengthen digital learning capabilities.
- Support the implementation of standardized instructional design processes across learning projects.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to meet agreed development schedules and delivery milestones.
- Prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Ensure all learning resources reflect organizational values, professional standards, and compliance requirements.
- Prepare learning documentation and user guides where necessary.
- Assist with troubleshooting learning content following deployment within the LMS environment.
- Promote continuous improvement through regular evaluation of course effectiveness and learner performance.
- Contribute ideas for improving learning strategies, templates, and instructional design practices.
- Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders while delivering high-quality learning solutions within established timelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Communication, Educational Technology, or another relevant discipline.
- Professional certification in instructional design, digital learning, or eLearning development will be an added advantage.
- Sound understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
- Knowledge of digital learning technologies and modern content development practices.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and online learning environments.
