Key Responsibilities
- Administer enterprise network infrastructure to maintain reliable connectivity across organizational locations.
- Monitor network availability using approved monitoring platforms and performance management tools.
- Configure switches, routers, wireless infrastructure, and network security appliances.
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise server environments.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance for ICT infrastructure and communication systems.
- Troubleshoot network performance issues using structured diagnostic methodologies.
- Respond promptly to ICT incidents while minimizing operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network architecture and infrastructure configurations.
- Implement user account administration and secure access management procedures.
- Assist in deploying enterprise cybersecurity controls across ICT environments.
- Monitor system logs and investigate unusual network activities.
- Support implementation of backup schedules and disaster recovery procedures.
- Coordinate software deployment activities across supported technology platforms.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrade and technology modernization projects.
- Maintain inventory records for ICT equipment and network assets.
- Assist in evaluating new technologies that improve operational efficiency.
- Support cloud-based infrastructure integration initiatives where applicable.
- Collaborate with vendors during installation and maintenance assignments.
- Conduct routine health assessments for critical ICT infrastructure components.
- Verify compliance with ICT governance standards and organizational procedures.
- Support endpoint management and device configuration activities.
- Provide technical guidance to users experiencing connectivity challenges.
- Prepare technical reports highlighting infrastructure performance trends.
- Assist in capacity planning for expanding technology requirements.
- Monitor bandwidth utilization and recommend optimization improvements.
- Participate in cybersecurity awareness initiatives across departments.
- Test business continuity arrangements supporting technology operations.
- Ensure software updates and firmware upgrades are completed appropriately.
- Support implementation of secure remote connectivity solutions.
- Assist with technology procurement evaluations from a technical perspective.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities with relevant stakeholders.
- Perform structured root-cause analysis following infrastructure incidents.
- Escalate complex technical issues through established support channels.
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information and ICT resources.
- Contribute ideas that strengthen digital transformation and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, or another closely related ICT discipline from a recognized institution.
- Professional certifications in networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, or cloud technologies will provide an added advantage.
- Demonstrated understanding of enterprise networking concepts, operating systems, and infrastructure management principles.
- Strong knowledge of ICT governance, technology support practices, and network administration.
